Flows launches free-to-play NFL crash game TakeDown
A new American football-themed crash game called TakeDown is now live, giving online casinos a free-to-play mini-game they can drop into the wider player journey rather than presenting it as a standalone title.
Flows says TakeDown is designed to be triggered by player events and surfaced in-game at different moments, including anti-churn prompts, missions, login bonuses, and broader gamification campaigns. The idea is that the same crash-style gameplay can show up as a reward, a challenge step, or a retention touchpoint depending on what the casino wants to do.
Operators can customise the experience through FlowsWave, tailoring TakeDown to match their brand, a specific campaign, and their audience. Flows said it handles the technology and security behind the experience, while FlowsWave is built to work alongside an operator’s existing tech stack and content so new player-facing features can be launched without rebuilding the underlying platform.
Andrew Doublesin, CPO at Flows, called crash games “a major part of the market,” and said the company can take a client idea, build around a game style players already know, and get it live quickly as a fully branded experience connected to missions, login bonuses, and other gamification features.
TakeDown is available now for operators and media to try, and it will also be playable at SBC Summit in Lisbon from 29 September to 1 October at Hall 2, Stand B643.
Player angle: If you’re seeing more crash-style side games inside casino lobbies, TakeDown is a clear example of how those free-to-play experiences are being used to shape missions, rewards, and retention rather than just add another game tile. Our casino bonuses guide has the up-to-date picture.
