Three Unfortunate Chickens Find Themselves in the Kitchen in BGaming’s Red Hot Chilli Chickens

BGaming has launched a new slot with Electric Elephant Games called Red Hot Chilli Chickens, putting three unlucky chickens on the reels in a kitchen packed with boiling soups, onions, garlic, kitchen knives, and buckets of chicken wings. The top prize is up to 5,000x.

The Wild in Red Hot Chilli Chickens is a stove fire, which substitutes for all regular symbols. The game’s main progression kicks in when chilli peppers land on the grid: they arrive in three colors, each tied to one of the three chicken characters, and they’re “fed” to the chickens for a chance to trigger Free Spins.

Free Spins start with 12 spins. Which color chilli triggers the bonus decides which extra mechanic (modifier) you get, meaning there are three modifiers in total.

One modifier is Jackpot Free Spins, which adds special jackpot symbols to the grid. Collecting enough of these can award instant prizes up to 5,000x.

Another modifier is a Hold & Win bonus. If it triggers by itself, only coins with multipliers up to 1,000x can land, along with special collector symbols. If Hold & Win triggers alongside another feature, coins can land next to other symbols and pay their listed prize instantly.

For players who prefer to skip the build-up, the game includes a buy option: a random bonus can be triggered for 100x the bet, or a triple bonus for 200x the bet. BGaming product owner of publishing Igor Bondarenko said the team aimed for mechanics that “tell a story,” with chickens getting “more and more nervous” as chillis are collected and the bonus gets closer.
