Caesars Adds $1.5M VIP Loyalty Point Tier, But Even High Rollers Aren’t Guaranteed Entry

Caesars is adding a new, invitation-only top tier to Caesars Rewards called Caesars Olympus, with access set to begin in February after a January launch. For players, it’s a new ceiling on VIP perks—but it comes with an eye-watering hurdle and no automatic acceptance, even for the biggest spenders.

To be considered, Caesars says patrons need to reach 300,000 tier credits before the end of the year. Based on calculations cited by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, that works out to roughly $1.5 million in spending to rack up enough credits to qualify for the tier.

Even then, Caesars is clear that the tier-credit target is only the starting line. “Reaching 300,000 tier credits is the first step toward Olympus,” the company wrote, adding that “earning the tier credit requirement does not guarantee membership.”

For those who do get in, Caesars says Olympus members will earn loyalty points 40% faster than other members, get complimentary hotel suite upgrades, and receive a seven-day stay at “any Caesars rewards destination.” Caesars also plans a Founders Party at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in March 2027 for this group.

Caesars said both land-based and online betting will count toward earning credits, including play on its Caesars Palace and Horseshoe online casino brands. The move comes as Caesars looks to lift Las Vegas performance after revenues there fell 3.5% year-on-year in the second quarter, against a backdrop where Vegas Strip casinos reported an 81% year-on-year drop in net income in 2025.

Separately, Caesars is also in the final stage of takeover talks with Las Vegas rival Fertitta Entertainment, after Fertitta won a bidding war involving the 90-year-old Carl Icahn.

Player angle: Even if you’ll never chase 300,000 tier credits, changes at the very top of a major rewards program can ripple down into how loyalty perks are structured across both casino floors and online play. The details live in our casino bonuses guide.
