Evoplay releases Olympus Gold Rush, a Greek mythology jackpot slot
Evoplay has launched Olympus Gold Rush, a Zeus-themed 4×3 video slot that’s built around collecting coin values and chasing fixed jackpots rather than leaning on traditional payline wins. The new title went live on 20 August 2026 and joins a busy mid-2026 run of Greek mythology slots hitting the market.
At the center of the game is a coin-collection bonus structure with four fixed jackpot tiers, capped by a GRAND prize of 1,000x the bet. The slot also includes a Bonus Buy option in selected markets, letting eligible players purchase entry into the bonus features.
Evoplay lists the game’s RTP at 96.27% in standard play. That stated RTP changes if you buy into the bonus: it drops to 95.97% when the Bonus Game is purchased and sits at 96.16% when the Ultra Bonus Game is purchased.
The main symbols to watch are Bonus Coins and Heavy Coins. Bonus Coins carry random values up to 4x, while Heavy Coins land with values between 5x and 9x and stay locked on the reels until a bonus feature activates. The Bonus Game triggers when four symbols land on the central line, starting with three spins; every new Bonus symbol both locks in place and resets the spin counter. The feature ends when the spins run out or when all 12 positions on the 4×3 grid are filled, and completing the full 12-symbol board awards the GRAND 1,000x jackpot.
Not every jackpot requires a full grid: Mystic Jackpot symbols guarantee one of the lower three tiers (MINI, MINOR, or MAJOR), while the GRAND remains reserved for the 12-filled board. Another symbol, Black Hole, activates a free spins feature in the base game and also collects all previously landed Bonus symbol values and jackpots during bonus rounds. During play, random lightning strikes can hit the reels and leave behind growing 2x multipliers, and at the close of a bonus round Mystic symbols can convert into any symbol except Heavy Coins.
Olympus Gold Rush arrives as Greek and Olympus content stays one of the most active themes in the European slots market, with multiple studios releasing Zeus- and Olympus-style titles in mid-2026. Recent examples cited in the same period include Elysium Studios’ Odyssey Hold & Win (23 July 2026) and DEGEN Studios’ Hades Hellfire (29 July 2026), both drawing on Greek and underworld mythology.
Evoplay, founded in 2017, says it now has a portfolio of more than 250 games across slots, table, crash, and instant formats, distributed to operators in more than 100 countries. The studio holds a B2B Critical Gaming Supply licence from the Malta Gaming Authority and has certification from Ontario’s AGCO and Swiss authorities; it also reported releasing 45 new games in 2025 while expanding in Europe into Austria, Spain, and the lottery vertical.
Player angle: If you track new slots releases, this one is worth noting because it combines a tight 4×3 “fill-the-grid” jackpot chase with clearly stated RTP differences between normal spins and Bonus Buy play. The details live in our casino bonuses guide.
