NetEnt has released a new slot called Aftermath, built around an “AI‑pocalypse” story and a gameplay setup that aims squarely at players who like volatile math and big swing potential. It’s a scatter-pays game on a 4-reel, 6-row grid where wins land when 8 or more matching symbols connect anywhere on the layout, with a maximum win cap of 25,000x.

Aftermath’s stake range runs from $/€0.20 to $/€40, and the top listed RTP is 96.05% (with lower RTP versions also available). The base game is highly volatile and uses avalanches: whenever a win hits, those symbols disappear and new ones drop in, potentially chaining more wins.
